Positive: Loved the character of the cabin. It had a lot of the original including the fireplace but all the wonderful comforts that you expect from a high end hotel. I talked with the owners on the phone and they were exceptionally nice. They were not around while I was there. I saw some of the help out and about and they went out of the way to be very helpful. The healing springs water is wonderful! Make sure you have some type of container to pump some in. They actually have gallon jugs of it for sale!
Negative: The cabin we were in had a small bathroom with a nice size shower but, the base jutted out and I tripped while carrying something and did not see it. Everyone was great other than when I went to check in and the person working the desk came in and said I was too early and would have to come back in 35 mins. I said, " I will just sit here and wait, if that's ok. She just seemed very agitated with me and not very nice. Everyone else was totally amazing. Maybe she just had a bad day.

Positive: Lovely setting. Enjoyed the porch seating. Grateful for the a/c and ceiling fan. Very quiet.
Negative: It's not a cabin, it's a room. The photos do a good job of hiding that. There was no way to unpack since there was no closet or dresser. There wasn't anywhere to set my suitcase so I dressed and undressed from a suitcase on the floor for 3 days. There was no flat surface on which to write. The "kitchenette" was a microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. The only sink was the bathroom sink and I don't like cleaning food stuffs off a plate in a bathroom sink. The shower temp alternated throughout the shower from tepid to just right. There was very little space to set bathroom things, which is a problem when I carry meds and a blood sugar monitor and need to use both each day. The toilet rocked back and forth.
Summary: It's not a cabin, it's a (snug) room.
